Dear All,
On April 1st, the Hilverda Foundation was present at the event ‘Come into the greenhouse’! We took the opportunity to make the Hilverda Foundation visible again at the production location of HilverdaFlorist and we were able to tell many people about the beautiful work that we are allowed to do! Thanks to the generous donation of plants and flowers by HilverdaFlorist, the Foundation was able to offer these for a nice price to the public who came to visit the company. We received many enthusiastic responses and plenty of plants and flowers were bought: we are proud to say that we raised an amount of no less than 4,018.81 euros!! Totally great! We would like to thank HilverdaFlorist again for their contribution to this in the form of all the beautiful potted plants and cut flowers.
For several weeks now we have been talking to a cooperation partner in India to help underprivileged children to follow an education. We can make this happen now, partly with the amount collected. Our projects in Kenya and Colombia are going well, and we recently entered into a partnership with the Dutch Stichting Studiezalen. In the Netherlands, too, there are children who have fewer opportunities in life due to their background and living conditions, and they too benefit from extra education, study guidance and coaching. More information about our new projects in India and the Netherlands will appear on our website soon. And we will also be more visible on social media as of May, so keep an eye on your Facebook, Insta, Twitter and LinkedIn!
